What are the potential implications of a low level of digital health literacy? Which other factors may impact individuals’ usage of and benefits from digitally enabled services or technology? How can we assess this from a qualitative and quantitative perspective?

In this workshop these questions will be addressed based on 10 years of experience with the eHealth literacy framework, the eHealth literacy questionnaire and the readiness and enablement index of health technology.

Results will be presented, and the findings will be discussed in relation to potential practical implications for how health professionals best meet their patients’ needs in relation to everyday practice, introduction of a new technology or on-boarding into a telehealth service.

All are welcome. Participants are encouraged to bring their own cases or challenges from their research or practice for discussion.
